Sillages Albarino IGP Pays d'Oc (Organic)

Complex bouquet of white fruit with honey and coconut notes. Generous fruity flavours on the palate with good balance and freshness. Les Vignobles Foncalieu looked for a fresh and floral grape variety which could be enhanced by Languedoc terroirs, they chose Albariño. Originally from Galicia, it has made a new home in Foncalieu’s Puichéric vineyard where oceanic and Mediterranean influences meet, allowing it to express its full richness. Aged 4 months in stainless steel vats.

Aquarius Sangiovese

Pale ruby red in colour with fragrant aromas of rhubarb, spice and sweet cherries. on the palate, an earthy, expressive wine with flavours of plum, raspberry and herbaceous notes. This funky, carefree wine is crafted from grapes grown in McPhersons spectacularly beautiful Central Victorian Vineyards. Enjoy in peace, love and happiness. The wine is lightly oaked using old French barrels, allowing the wine oak for structure and balance, without imparting strong oak tannins. Sangiovese is typically a lighter style of red wine, early to release and easy to drink, which is why we bottle it young to retain those youthful, fresh, fruity characters. An ideal partner to BBQ meats, hard cheeses such as pecorino or gnocchi with tomato sauce.

Marco Gavio Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva

Full bodied and great structure, excellent balance and persistence. A very complex and elegant nose, lots of dark fruits along with floral and spicy notes. This wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques followed by at least 6 months in bottle and its this slow ageing in French barriques which enhances the wine with notes of vanilla, tobacco and cocoa. 100% Sangiovese. Ideal with medium-hard cheeses and red meat, especially roasted and braised.

XV Pure Cabernets

52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Ruby Cabernet. Rich, full bodied and vibrant, the XV range from McPherson Wines celebrates classic Australian red wine. A luscious dark red coloured wine with purple hues. A lifted nose of vanilla, blackberry and red currant. The palate displays notes of spice and rich black fruits complemented with elegant oak. Perfectly balanced, with a firm, smooth tannin structure, it finishes with and lengthy ripe fruit and French oak. Fruit is harvested from McPherson’s old vines from exceptional riverside vineyards. The vineyard is situated on the banks of the Murray River, and is of sandy soils, with excellent draining providing ideal conditions for growing high quality fruit. Separate parcels of the wine spent between 6 and 12 months in French oak barriques, after which the final blending of select parcels took place. Perfect with red meats and spicy Asian dishes, try this wine with a barbequed steak or slow cooked, rich beef ribs.

Scuola Grande Amarone D.O.C.G. della Valpolicella

Powerful, warm flavours with light tannins. A delicious bouquet of cherry, plum, and black cherries under liquor with hints of toasted almond; interesting final notes of coffee, tobacco and cocoa. Colour-wise, this is deep, dark, and intense, with pleasant slight granite shades. Created from 45% up to 95% Corvina grapes, Corvinone up to a maximum 50% if substituting the same percentage of Corvina, Rondinella (from 5% to 30%) and small percentages of Oseleta and Molinara grape varieties. Mario’s Cabernet Sauvignon

Opulent fruit with a fleshy mid-palate thanks to its valley floor origins, velvety tannins with elegant structure. Aromas of mocha, crushed red berry fruit, plum, forest floor and hints of refreshing mint. Bright flavours of raspberry jam, tobacco and fig are complemented with a soft texture, rich mid-palate and a polished finish. The wine's valley floor origins give it a fleshy midpalate, with tannins that are light and pure and a mouthfeel that is incredibly round and supple. The Mario Cabernet Sauvignon is a tribute to the strength and perseverance of Mario Trinchero, the first family member to move to the Napa Valley back in 1948. Sustainably sourced from two estate vineyards in St Helena, the aptly named Marios Vineyard and Central Park West vineyard which pay homage to the Trinchero family's New York heritage. 17 months in French oak [70% new] Cabernet Sauvignon 77%, Cabernet Franc 14%, Malbec 5% Winner of a Silver Medal (91 points) in Decanter World Wine Awards 2022

Ballancin DOCG Prosecco Superiore

This extra dry Prosecco is 100% Glera and the grapes are grown in the hilly area north of Treviso between the towns of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. The Ballancin story in the vineyards and winery closely reflects the tradition and typical features of this territory in the morainic hills surrounding Solighetto, province of Treviso, ideal for exalting Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Fermentation in pressure tanks. Maturation in steel vats. Pris di mousse 30 days. Second fermentation Charmat method. Store in a cool and dark cellar. Serve at 4-5 °C, open when ready to serve. Vini Ballancin was established in the 1960s when Lino Ballancin came home from a long stint of hard work in Switzerland and purchased some land from the Brandolini Counts. He had the foresight to cultivate vineyards, and now the winery is run by his sons Sergio and Antonio who have worked in the vineyards since childhood. Now, after studying at the Conegliano Oenological School and gaining experience through many years of hard work, the sons are proud to belong to this land of universally renowned wine and bubbly. Lino Vallancin was awarded the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica (the equivalent of a British knighthood) in 2012.
