Mario’s Cabernet Sauvignon

Opulent fruit with a fleshy mid-palate thanks to its valley floor origins, velvety tannins with elegant structure. Aromas of mocha, crushed red berry fruit, plum, forest floor and hints of refreshing mint. Bright flavours of raspberry jam, tobacco and fig are complemented with a soft texture, rich mid-palate and a polished finish. The wine's valley floor origins give it a fleshy midpalate, with tannins that are light and pure and a mouthfeel that is incredibly round and supple. The Mario Cabernet Sauvignon is a tribute to the strength and perseverance of Mario Trinchero, the first family member to move to the Napa Valley back in 1948. Sustainably sourced from two estate vineyards in St Helena, the aptly named Marios Vineyard and Central Park West vineyard which pay homage to the Trinchero family's New York heritage. 17 months in French oak [70% new] Cabernet Sauvignon 77%, Cabernet Franc 14%, Malbec 5% Winner of a Silver Medal (91 points) in Decanter World Wine Awards 2022
