RCV Pink Port
An alternative style of Port, where creativity is highly represented in our experimentation & innovation category. Seeking for new consumers & new forms of consumption, we recommend this Port to be served as a mixer. The grapes are crushed on a pneumatic press followed by its vinification with no maceration. The fermentation is then interrupted with the addition of the brandy as is traditional for Port. Its ageing occurs in stainless steel in order to preserve its freshness & aromatic character. Tasting Notes: This elegant & smooth Port shows great aromatic character with evident notes of red fruit & herbs. On the palate, it reveals round red fruit notes & a lively acidity, which combined with a balanced sweetness results in a long, persistent finish. Food Pairing: Enjoy this fresh Rosé as an aperitif served plain, or as a Port Tonic. Try it with a dry sparkling wine or as a long drink with ice, ginger beer & lemon peel. Serving Temperature: Store bottles in a cool, dry place & away from direct light (16C). Serve at 12C. Once opened it preserves it’s flavours & characteristics for at least 3 months. Keep it in the fridge all the time to keep it's freshness.
