100% Graciano wines are a rare breed indeed. This Rioja is made in the Alta Montana region of the Alcamara mountains where David Forcada produces his incredible wines. No herbicides or pesticides are permitted within the region, as a protected Biosphere where the grapes for the wine are grown at 800 metres, making the vineyard as high as any within the rioja region. This wine made in tiny quantities shows the outstanding quality for wines from this tiny isolated growing region. David has created a wine that shines dense and black purple in the glass. A wine with incredible weight of fruit on the nose, with sweet spicy layers of American and French oak.
