Roebuck Estates own and manage multiple vineyards throughout Sussex and Kent. Each individual site has been planted with carefully selected clones and grape varieties best suited to the soil and is managed on a block-by-block, row-by-row basis according to its unique topography.
We are single minded in our approach, producing only traditional-method vintage sparkling wines from the classic grape varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, which are sold in the UK and distributed globally. We are also incredibly proud to be one of the founding members of the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain certification scheme.

The fruit destined for our 2017 Classic Cuvée was harvested by hand at our Roebuck and Little Brockhurst vineyards and whole-bunch pressed. Partial fermentation in the finest Burgundian oak barrels, followed by long lees ageing for a minimum of 36 months gives additional texture, complexity and opulence to this wine. Wonderful notes of baked pears and citrus fruits are layered with a toasty richness and hint of sweet spice. Delicate bubbles linger on the palate leading to a long, beautifully balanced finish.

Our 2017 Rosé de Noirs was crafted from perfectly ripe Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes grown at our beautiful Sussex vineyards. The fruit destined for this wine was whole-bunch pressed and partially fermented in the finest Burgundian oak barrels followed by a generous period of bottle-ageing for a minimum of 36 months. A splash of Pinot Précoce was added prior to release imparting an attractive pale pink hue and ripe red fruit characteristics on this wine. Our 2017 Rosé de Noirs is vibrant and expressive with notes of ripe strawberries, raspberries and a hint of toasted almonds.

Nestled in a serene valley at the foothills of the South Downs lies our Roman Villa vineyard where the fruit for this wine was grown.
