Coast TO Coast Wines is dedicated to bringing you hidden gems from Spain. Owned by Patrick Webb and John Small, Coast TO Coast Wines represent independent family wineries producing fantastic wines that speak of their time and place. Crafted by people who make their wines with the aim of expressing that which makes their vineyards, wines and appellations unique and worth knowing. We proudly represent producers across the Iberian Peninsula, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.
Each winery is independent and family-run. We work directly with the sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers who create the bottled treasures we have the privilege of sharing with you. Each winery has its own way of doing things. In fact, each operation is quite different in its approach to winemaking and business operations. However, they all share a common denominator of quality, both in product and service.
We offer wines from the following Spanish appellations: Cava, Conca de Barberà, Costers del Segre, Empordà, Montsant, Penedès, Priorat, Ribeira Sacra, Rioja, Terra Alta. We also partner with cellars from the principal wine regions of Spain such as Rías Baixas, Ribera del Duero and Castilla y León, among others.

Sparkling wine made by the ancestral method of a single fermentation in the bottle, made 100% with organic Montonega from vines at more than 500m altitude. Fresh, with very clean white fruit and citrus notes, to be enjoyed at any time
Certified organic ancestral made from 100% Sumoll Negre. Bright salmon color with violet tones, good release of medium-sized bubbles that form persistent rosaries in the cup. Intense aromas of red and citrus fruits that give it sweet and refreshing notes. In the mouth it is present alive and persistent. It has a fresh entry and a good acidity, elegantly accompanied by the crunchy sensations of the bursting of the bubble as it passes through the mouth. Notes of aromatic herbs appear in the retro taste. The aftertaste is fresh and nice. Serve between 6-8º C. It combines perfectly with all kinds of salads and Asian cuisine. Ideal for snacks, sweet desserts and fruit. A unique and different sparkling wine!
Blend of Sumoll and Red Grenache with large red colour with violet hues and abundant tears. Aged 10 months in oak barrels it is an aromatically intense and complex wine. Notes of red, pulp and citrus fruit (grapefruit, mandarin). Fresh aromas of liquorice, menthol with a floral background. On the palate it is silky, fresh and well balanced, medium-structured wine with a sweet and ripe tannin.
Certified organic, this rose cava is made from 100% Trepat. Medium pink, fresh aromas of red Berry fruits (strawberries) and pomegranate, with subtle forest floor notes. Recurring fresh red berry fruit on the palate. Lively acidity balanced by the dosage. The Trepat grape offers nuanced layers of fresh and candied fruit throughout.
Winemaker Joan Miquel Canals, decided to take a different tack with this cava. Contrary to the traditional cava blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeo with a touch of Parellada, Joan Miquel has instead put Parellada as the dominant varietal in this cava. (60% Parellada - 25% Macabeo - 15% Xarel·lo). Pale lemon. Uplifting aromas of fresh white flowers, stone and white fruits. Lightly structured yet appealing. This cava is quite unique in its blend, where the dominant variety is Parellada. Parellada lends softness, elegance and freshness to the wine. This style is perfect for aperetifs, light dishes and summer days. The zero dosage highlights the freshness and nuanced aromas.
A delicious blend of Trepat (91%) and Grenache (9%) from DO Conca de Barberà in Spain. Fermented in stainless steel with a short maceration period. Intense aromas of red fruit and floral notes. On the palate it is youthful and fresh with a delightful finish. A wine in which the base is the fruit and delicacy of Trepat, contrasted by the sweetness and volume of Grenache. An excellent combination.
This red wine is a single varietal 100% Garrut from DO Conca de Barberà. Certified organic and hand harvested. This wine has a great intensity of colour, a deep red layer with ruby nuances. On the nose it is powerful, a rich palette of perfumes composed of ripe plum, liquorice, spice and barrel notes with a hint of coffee and chocolate. Rich and silky on the palate with savoury notes and an elegant finish.
This is a young wine from DO Terra Alta, made mainly from White Grenache with a touch of Macabeo with some lees contact to provide flavour and viscosity. Aloja Blanc conveys freshness and minerality, and is a wine that is easy to enjoy. Acacia flower, apple, Mediterranean herbs and citric fruits. As the wine ages, notes of smoke, baked peach and honey are prominent. Lovely recurring fruit flavours on the finish. Unoaked with 3 - 4 months sur lees in stainless steel.
Red wine that is representative of DO Montsant. Made from Grenache and Carignan sourced from vineyards of various soil types. Grenache brings fruit and volume, while Carignan offers colour and structure. A small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon used in the blend for fruit and structure. Aloja Negre is a fresh, mineral, spicy wine that is approachable and easy to drink on its own or as an accompaniment to varied cuisines. Three months in French and American oak barrels followed wit one year in underground concrete tanks.
From the foothills of Sierra Cantabria, this young unoaked red, 100% Tempranillo from 30 year old bush vines is a cracking wine. Black cherry with intense violet hues in colour. On the nose there are ripe red and black fruits, minerals and a slight floral note. Fleshy, fragrant and full bodied on the palate with a delightful finish.
This crianza is superb. 100% Tempranillo from 40-80 year old bush vines. Fermented at a low temperature with ageing of 16 months in French and American oak barrels followed by 6 months in bottle racks before release. Ripe black cherry in colour with aromas of red and black fruit, spices along with an earthy and balsamic notes. It is full bodied, rich and lingers on the palate with delightful fruity notes.
This 100% Viura us from a single vineyard called Valderrodrigo with vines over 60 years old. From these vines they hand select only the very best grapes from each vine. It is fermented in French oak barrels which are lightly scorched and aged for a further 6 months in barrel which enables great ageing qualities. Pale yellow in colour, notes of tropical fruits (passion fruit, roasted pineapple) and hints of apricot jam and freshly backed croissants. On the palate it is fleshy with great volume and acidity not to mention a sublime finish.
100% Tempranillo from San Ginés, at 700m in Rioja Alavesa. Hand harvested, this wine is aged four months in new French oak barrels. Garnet blue in colour with a velvety shine. On the nose, black forest fruits with elegant aromas of toffee and violet. A gorgeous wine on the palate with ripe fruits, gentle tannins and an elegant finish.
From DOQ Priorat, certified organic Mas Sinén La Vall is a cracking wine. A blend of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Syrah from llicorella/slate soils. Aged six months in French oak barrels, it has intense aromas of ripe fruit, balsamic and a hint of spice. Long on the palate with elegant tannins, volume and a velvety texture.
Celler Burgos Porta produced their first organic wine in 2003. Their vineyards are situated in a small valley in Poboleda surrounded by crops and forests and range between 300m - 500m above sea level. Mas Sinén Clos is a punchy yet elegant red wine. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels it is intense red cherry in colour with complex notes of spice, minerals, red and black fruits and balsamic aromas. On the palate it is intense with rich ripe fruit, grippy tannins and a super long finish.
