Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Fetească Neagră grapes in Romania's Dealu Mare, this wine reflects the region's winemaking excellence. Fetească Neagră, an ancient Moldovan variety, thrives with meticulous care. Picked late, and trimmed regularly, it produces deep-colored wines, ranging from bramble fruit to cappuccino and vanilla notes. Dealu Mare's compact vineyards, influenced by a temperate continental climate, contribute to the vine's vigor. After separate vinification, the wine matures for 12 months in second-cycle Romanian oak barrels, followed by bottle aging for 12 months. A ruby-red wine with dried fruit and coffee aromas, it boasts balanced structure and a persistent finish. Best served at 15-17°C, it pairs well with lamb, red meat, matured cheese, and chocolate desserts.
