COVID-19 PROTOCOL

Agile Media has worked hard to ensure SITT operates safely and to provide reassurance and confidence to attendees and exhibitors that they are participating in an environment that is effectively controlled, safe and run according to official government and local authority guidance. We will continue to update this as and when government guidance changes.

Stay at home if unwell

All guests are encouraged to check how they are feeling well before attending SITT.

Please ensure you have no fever or other symptoms related to COVID-19, or have not been in direct contact with anyone else displaying COVID-19 symptoms before travelling to the venue.

A full list of symptoms for COVID-19 can be found here https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

Registration

To ensure the health and safety of our guests, only those who have pre-registered will be able to attend SITT. This enables us to manage numbers of visitors attending and allows us to adhere to obligations with NHS track and trace.

We therefore advise you to register as soon as possible to secure your place and download your ticket before attending. Admission will be strictly by registration in advance only and details may be used for contact tracing if necessary.

Plan ahead

Plan your visit before you arrive at the venue using the exhibitor information listed on the website or viewing the online copy of the event brochure in advance.

Knowing who you would like to visit and where to go will contribute to safe and productive attendance.

On arrival

All ticket scanning will be contactless. Be sure to have your ticket ready either on your smartphone or printed.

Following government guidance, all attendees are recommended to demonstrate proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test or PCR result taken within 48hrs of arrival. You are encouraged to present an NHS confirmation text or email to verify your negative COVID status upon arrival (or alternative recognised proof).

Attendees will also be asked to check-in with our event NHS Test & Trace QR code.

Face Masks

This event will be a mask friendly event and we encourage attendees to wear a mask if it makes them feel more comfortable during the event.

Any masks required for the duration of the event should be supplied by the individual although a limited number will be available at reception if required.

Hand Sanitiser

Hand sanitising stations will be provided on arrival and at various points throughout the event.

Exhibitors will be provided with hand sanitiser on their stands and encouraged to display this prominently so visitors can use it if required.

Spittoons and used glassware

Visitors will be provided with individual spittoons which they are required to carry with them for the duration of the event. Any waste from the spittoons is to be disposed of by the individual user at the waste disposal site in each venue.

Used glassware is also required to be returned to the designated tables at each venue so they can be handled following our COVID-19 risk assessment procedure.

Be Respectful to others

Please be mindful of individuals personal space as everyone will have their own unique levels of comfort as we return to events.

Please give people space when you are walking past them and check before initiating personal contact (consider elbow bumps rather than handshakes or hugs).

Social Distancing

Social Distancing will be managed in line with the latest government advice. The flow of visitors will be managed to ensure the maximum interaction in the safest environment.

Ventilation

Ventilation will be increased at each venue, improving fresh air circulation in line with the latest government guidance.

Cleaning

Enhanced cleaning by each venue, including increased cleaning of all high contact areas within each venue such as handrails, door handles etc will be completed throughout the duration of the SITT event.

Exhibitors will also be encouraged to disinfect their respective stands and exhibits regularly throughout the event.

Catering

Any catering facilities will be open but in line with the latest government guidance. Cashless payments are encouraged.
