When is the event?

London – Wednesday 1st March from 10.30am – 6pm

SITT Autumn 2017: Manchester – Monday 18th September from 10.30am – 5pm and 
London – Wednesday 20th September from 10.30am – 6pm

What is the event about?

The Specialist Importers Trade Tasting (SITT) is a crucial tasting for both new and seasoned trade professionals across the independent on- and off-trade sectors, bringing you a wide selection of specialist importers, boutique wineries and agencies all showcasing a great range of wines for your wine list. The event will also incorporate the well-known Emerging Regions Tasting in a dedicated ERT Zone.

SITT Spring 2017:

Manchester - The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club
London - Lindley Hall, The Royal Horticultural Halls

SITT Autumn 2017:

Manchester - The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club
London - Venue TBC

Who exhibits at the event?

SITT exhibitors consist of specialist importers, boutique wineries and distributors who import specialist wines that are only available in independents.

Am I eligible to visit?

SITT is open to trade wine buyers within the independent on- and off-trade sectors, as well as a selection of personally invited members of the press. William Reed reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not fit this criteria. No under 18s will be admitted including babes in arms.

Are there masterclasses at the event?

There will be no masterclasses at SITT Spring, however we do offer a series of wine walks in the ERT Zone with industry experts.

How much does it cost to attend?

Attendance to SITT is free of charge.

How do I register?

To register for SITT Spring, click here. Registration for SITT Autumn will open early next year. Please check back for further updates.

Can I register a colleague to come with me?

Yes, as long as they fit the visitor criteria they can register as above.

Will I receive my badge before the event?

Badges will not be sent out prior to the event. You can collect these from the registration desk on the arrival.

I didn’t have time to register, can I still come along?

Yes, you can still come along and register on the door. Please make sure you bring a business card along with you.

I am a student; can I visit the event?

On some occasions students can attend by prior arrangement only. Please email joanna.gibson@wrbm.com if you would like to find out more on whether you can attend.

Is there a cloakroom at the event?

Yes there is a free of charge cloakroom at both venues.

Will there be anywhere to buy food at the event?

Yes, there will be a café selling food and drinks on level one in Manchester and on the balcony in London.
