This year at the inaugural SITT Autumn, award winning Argentine specialist importers Las Bodegas will be showcasing a selection of wines NOT from Argentina, as well as some new wines from its more traditional source.
“Over the last couple of years, whilst remaining very focused on Argentina and introducing many new wines, we have also been carefully and fairly quietly building up a small, focused range of wines from other countries, particularly France and Spain, more recently Chile. This is not an attempt to go head to head with much larger, more ‘generalist’ suppliers, but rather in order to offer our customers something a little bit different. We have been sourcing some quite esoteric wines and are presenting them under labels that we have developed specifically for the independents. At SITT Autumn we will be showing a selection from Rioja, the Languedoc and Curicó Valley, Chile”
