Venue and re-vamp announced for SITT Autumn
Multiple changes have been introduced to this year’s event, which, over the 12 years has become the show for specialist importers looking to meet with buyers and develop business.
Now in its first year as part of Harpers’ parent company Agile Media, the event returns this September with a renewed focus on relevant content, pairing quality independent exhibitors with buyers from across the UK on- and off-trade.
It also welcomes back Judy Kendrick, SITT’s original creator, who will be at the forefront of the event as its brand ambassador alongside her business partner Ana Sofia de Oliveira.
The day-long series of events will be landing in September in two separate locations - London and for the first time, Bristol.
With the Bristol event, Agile introduces a roaming element to the autumn show, which from now on will be held in a different second location each year, alongside London.
SITT stands for Specialist Importers Trade Tasting and was founded in 2005 to pair importers with independents buyers looking for those distinctive, “not on the high street”, wines.
Once again, a full schedule of business workshops, strategy meeting, masterclasses and tasting opportunities will help exhibitors and buyers to take away inspiration on how to work even more effectively in the specialist sector, and to get real value from time spent out of the office.
New features include Specialist Breakfast Briefings, aimed particularly at exhibitors to bring them up to speed on trends, business and topical issues.
We are also recruiting a specialist on-trade ambassador for the event, and will be creating targeted masterclasses and workshops specifically for this incredibly dynamic sector.
Join us at SITT Autumn in Bristol on September 18 and London on September 20.
We look forward to seeing you there.
